Accounts Receivable Manager - Real Estate - Bala Cynwyd, Pa - $100-120k -

This role is primarily remote, with occasional in office requirements in their corporate office in Bala Cynwyd, PA.

*Real estate experience is required!!!!

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee the entire receivables process for our real estate client. Your real estate background will be a valuable asset in understanding their specific billing procedures and tenant interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full life cycle of accounts receivable, from generating accurate and timely invoices to collecting payments and ensuring proper accounting records.
• Oversee a team of accounts receivable specialists and delegate tasks effectively.
• Monitor tenant accounts for non-payment, late payments, and discrepancies.
• Analyze and investigate outstanding balances and proactively initiate collection efforts.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements with delinquent tenants.
• Ensure adherence to company credit policies and procedures.
• Generate and maintain detailed reports on accounts receivable activity, including aging reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Reconcile accounts receivable on a monthly basis.
• Stay updated on real estate industry accounting practices and relevant regulations.
• Maintain a secure and confidential environment for all financial data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable management, with a strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Prior experience in the real estate industry is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to analyze financial data and generate reports.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Time management skills and a detail-oriented approach.
