Job Description

A small, successful investment firm in Brentwood is looking for an Office Manager. The office is a branch of the main office in TX and has 8 employees and a friendly, collaborative culture. The offices are on a high floor on Wilshire Boulevard and have ocean views. The Office Manager will sit at the reception desk and greet visitors. The office is low traffic – 1 visitor about every other day.

About the Job:

¨ Greet visitors and assist with parking validation

¨ Help plan and execute special company events including office parties, recruiting events, marketing events

¨ Be the liaison with the building, including setting up access with security for in-person meetings and reporting any building related issues in the office and on the floor

¨ Check mail, receive incoming packages, and assist with outgoing mail for the office

¨ Order and stock office and kitchen supplies

¨ Coordinate with the Executive Assistant to help with personal assistant duties, including ordering and picking up meals, taking vehicles in for inspection, and additional miscellaneous errands as assigned

About You:

¨ Minimum of 1 year of experience in in an office setting (for an exceptional candidate, this requirement might be waived)

¨ BA/BS from a college or university

¨ Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Adobe

¨ Team player

¨ Polished, professional demeanor

¨ Proactive go-getter; no task is too big or too small

¨ Outstanding communication skills

Salary, Benefits (health insurance paid 100% by firm), 401K, Paid Vacation Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm
