Job Description

An engineer is being sought to perform CAD modeling, design, and technical drawing review within the USAF SEEK EAGLE organization. Responsibilities will be focused on sophisticated wind tunnel systems with reconfigurable aircraft models, complex components, and innovative support mechanisms compatible with a wide range of inventory and development weapon models; and components constructed using multiple advanced manufacturing processes.

The engineer will participate in a working environment focused on the evaluation of aircraft compatibility with a wide variety of external and internal stores necessary to conduct the range of USAF operational and test missions.

Hard Skills

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Experience with aerodynamics engineering
• Proficiency in CAD modeling and design using NX
• Understanding of airworthiness requirements
• Experience with wind tunnel work
  
  

Soft Skills

• Ability to work in a dynamic multi-tasking environment
• Strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
• Ability to work closely with vendors and suppliers
