Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate people to join our team in the grand opening of Tamba Las Vegas. This concept will bring an new immersive dining experience of refined Indian Coastal cuisine. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support Bartenders:

   • Assist bartenders with preparing and serving drinks during busy service periods.
   • Replenish ice, glassware, and supplies as needed.
   • Prepare garnishes and other drink components.

2. Stocking and Inventory:

   • Ensure the bar is well-stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and other supplies.
   • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
   • Assist in receiving and storing bar deliveries.

3. Cleaning and Maintenance:

   • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar tops, workstations, and storage areas.
   • Clean and sanitize glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
   • Perform regular cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.

4. Customer Service:

   • Provide excellent customer service by supporting bartenders and ensuring guests have a positive experience.
   • Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
   • Assist with any additional guest needs as directed by bartenders or management.

5. Compliance and Safety:

   • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
   • Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines.
   • Ensure all bar equipment is in good working condition and report any issues to the supervisor.

6. Team Collaboration:

   • Work closely with bartenders, servers, and other staff to ensure seamless service.
   • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
   • Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed.

• Education: High School Diploma is preferred.
• Industry Experience: Previous experience as a bar back, busser, or in a similar support role in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Certifications:  Must be able to obtain and maintain all necessary certificates and work cards.
• Customer Service Experience: Experience in customer service or hospitality roles is advantageous.
• Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of bar operations and service standards.
• Health and Safety: Basic knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations relevant to the hospitality industry.
