Job Description



Key Responsibilities:

To provide analysis and support to the Finance Director, Managing Director, Central Finance and the Divisional Executive team. 

Key Tasks

  • Build rapport and establish agile working relationships with the vertical FD and leadership teams to understand and deliver against the needs they set out.
  • Collaborative FD forecasting preparation.
  • Maintain accurate corroborative business, SSC and Finance Policy compliant monthly management accounts and ensure they close out on a timely basis.
  • Analysis of financial plans to targets, budgets and forecasts for accuracy and improvement opportunities
  • Maintenance of Management Information Systems to ensure variance analysis is live, up to date and relevant to divisional management.
  • Sales pipeline review and challenge (particularly relevant as diligence in collaborative forecast preparation)
  • Pro-actively seek to suggest revenue maximization strategy
  • Implementation and challenge on cost control and cost reduction
  • Presentation of KPIs (ARPA, Yields, Stats, Ratios) and development of trend analysis
  • Oversee ad hoc business case planning and the on-boarding of recent acquisitions. Assist in the implementation plan of acquisitions.
  • Monthly summarization and commentary to support Group Plc requirements.
  • Advocate and support change management and integration; including Group’s initiative programs and divisional IT infrastructure.
  • Drive forward and seek out horizontal initiatives to implement best practice and standardisation across all verticals
  • Source and maintain CPE that compliments personal and the finance teams requirements

Qualifications



Skills and Education Required

Typically, a Business Controller will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, a graduate degree (optional), a CPA designation (optional), be a qualified accountant with 6+ years of relevant experience and have strong MS excel and reporting presentation abilities. The Business Controller should be confident in communicating to key stakeholders through visual and F2F channels.

The pay for this role is $70k-$80k annually depending on experience
