Join our team at Summit Fine Meats as a Full Time Meat Cutter/Butcher. This onsite position offers a competitive pay depending on prior experience and expertise. This position does require weekend shift availability. We are open 10am-5pm on Saturdays and 11am-4pm on Sundays. Summit Fine Meats is a neighborhood butcher shop that operates on the idea of taking our customers back to a simpler time. A time where people used specialty shops to do their shopping, and customers were known by name. We strive to give our customers that same type of experience.
We offer paid time off after a period of employment, typically a year. We are closed on major US holidays. Team members can purchase store items at a 25% discount from our standard retail price.
JOB RESPONSILIBILITIES:
Performs duties relating to the cutting, preparation, display, and selling of meat products. We strive to ensure a positive community image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient service to our customers and fellow team members at all times. Team members must be prepared and able to perform the duties inherent in other team members’ job descriptions, if needed. We are a small, family friends-owned business where we succeed most when we all work together in a pinch towards the same goals.
