We're opening a cannabis lounge and dispensary unlike anything in Oakland. We're carrying on the community established by Luka's Tap Room at the same location.

Urbana's Lounge Host provides an incredible experience for guests visiting our luxurious lounge. Your working hours will primarily be in the lounge. Duties will involve delivering a great guest experience, caring for guests and supporting events like comedy night, salsa lessons and so much more.

Importantly, we are committed to our culture of learning and sharing what we learn with our customers and each other. If you don't have cannabis experience and you love taking care of people we'd love to talk. Applicants with restaurant and hospitality experience are especially encouraged to apply.

• Successfully create a warm, luxurious and hospitable place for customers to enjoy and learn about our products.
• Support brand awareness through events and vendor partnerships.
• Communicate effectively with customers to drive sales while providing excellent customer service.
• Educates customers on the various strains, uses, and methods of consumption.
• Demonstrates working knowledge and complies with all state/ municipal laws and regulations.
• Ensures overall cleanliness of the Lounge
• Maintains a professional demeanor during periods of high volume or stressful situations while setting a positive example for the team.
• Maintains open communication with management and retail staff.
• Educate staff and customers
• Have an exceptional commitment to hospitality.

We offer flexible schedules and one of the best compensation packages in the fast-growing cannabis industry:

• Rate: $19.00-$22 / Hour +Tips (Tips are currently averaging an additional $3 to $6 an hour)
