Responsibilities

As a caregiver at Wonders Home Health Care, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with daily activities and providing essential support to help them maintain their independence and quality of life. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Providing assistance with mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids and equipment.
• Monitoring clients' health and reporting any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Administering medications according to prescribed schedules and documenting medication administration accurately.
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding as needed, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up living spaces.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful activities and conversation.
• Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, and outings as required.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided and any observations or concerns.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred, but not required.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals requiring care.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients and their families.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility and dedication to providing quality care.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with transfers.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Authorized to work in the USA
• CNA, PCA, CMT , HHA certification required
