As we scale to meet the demands of hundreds of enterprise clients, we seek a dynamic and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and execution. Role Overview:
As the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s technological vision and ensuring the successful development, delivery, and scaling of our enterprise AI products. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and leader, fostering a culture of innovation while balancing operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technology Leadership:

    • Define and execute the company's long-term technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
    • Oversee the end-to-end development and scaling of enterprise AI products to hundreds of enterprise customers, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
  2. Team Development:

    • Set up, develop, and manage offshore development centers to complement in-house engineering teams.
    • Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing, collaborative technical team aligned with company culture and values.
  3. AI/ML Focus:

    • Drive innovation in AI/ML technologies, staying ahead of industry trends to ensure our products remain competitive and cutting-edge.
    • Ensure AI/ML solutions meet enterprise-grade security, scalability, and compliance standards.
  4. Strategic Advisory:

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing strategic counsel on technology trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure technology supports and drives business growth.
  5. Culture Building:

    • Cultivate a technology-driven, collaborative, and innovative culture that balances creativity and execution.
    • Embrace diversity and inclusion while fostering a workplace that values adaptability and resilience.

Requirements:

  • Experience:

    • Proven track record as a CTO or equivalent senior leadership role for a significant period in mid-sized or enterprise-level organizations.
    • Demonstrated experience in taking an enterprise data product or application from concept to scale, with a customer base of hundreds of enterprise clients.
    • Expertise in setting up, developing, and managing offshore development centers.
  • Technical Expertise:

    • Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies and their enterprise applications.
    • Strong background in software engineering, cloud technologies, and enterprise architecture.
  • Education:

    • Degree from a premier university. Advanced degree preferred but not required.
  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team-building skills with a proven ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
    • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience advising C-level executives.
  • Relocation:

    • Willingness to relocate to Chicago, IL (Relocation assistance provided).

  • Experience working in a mid-sized company transitioning to enterprise scale.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data products, customer success, and product scalability.
