Description: The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Baylor University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position as a
Clinical Assistant Professor beginning August 2025. This position involves a 10-month contract, with potential for summer teaching and supervision. The appointment is a renewable full-time, benefits-eligible position with a 6-year promotion path to Associate Clinical Professor for successful candidates and a promotion path to Clinical Professor for highly successful candidates (see Policy on Clinical Faculty at Baylor University (BU-PP 719))
Responsibilities include direct clinical supervision at the Baylor Psychology Clinic (the training clinic for the Department's APA-accredited Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology), adhering to ethical guidelines and legal procedures, facilitating student involvement in clinical practice, teaching and mentoring students at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, and assisting the Director of the Clinical Psychology Program, Clinic Director, Associate Clinic Director, and Clinic Office Manager in various capacities. Opportunities exist for clinical research as well, but research is neither expected nor required.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be able to contribute to our top-ranked Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program through teaching, clinical supervision, and mentoring.
- A doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical psychology or a closely related area of professional psychology is required .
- Must be licensed or license-eligible in Texas by the time of hire.
- A history of successful supervision of clinical work, including evidence-based psychological assessment and psychotherapy is preferred.
- Demonstrable ability to integrate research into practice is preferred.
- Outstanding administrative skills are preferred.
- University teaching experience is preferred.
