Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced instructor to teach Elementary & Middle School students the fundamentals of video game design and coding using the Scratch platform ( & Python. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and a genuine interest in educating and inspiring young minds.

Responsibilities :

Teach students the principles of game design, including storyboarding, character development, and game mechanics.
Guide students through hands-on projects to create their own video games.
Provide individualized support and feedback to students to help them improve their coding skills and creativity.
Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support as needed.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Education, or a related field.
Experience with the Scratch platform and a strong understanding of coding principles.
Previous teaching experience, particularly with Elementary, Middle School or high school students, is highly preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process.
A passion for video games and a desire to share that passion with students.
