Responsibilities

We are looking for an innovative individual to drive success as an integral part of our Commercial Electrical Department. This is a highly analytical role, requiring the ability to quickly assess and analyze multiple data points, including blueprints, material costs, and timelines to deliver accurate estimates. Below are the essential job duties of this position:

• Work closely with the Electrical Sales team to determine costs and potential profitability for commercial electrical projects
• Perform site visits to customer locations to ensure a full understanding of the scope of work
• Thoroughly assess and outline project requirements including materials, job duration, and labor
• Assist the Electrical Sales team in developing complete estimate used during the proposal development process
• Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Utilize and maintain accurate pricing in estimation software

• 3-5 years of previous electrical experience is required
• A.S. in Electrical Technology or previous electrical schooling required
• Experience with estimation software is preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft products including Outlook and Excel
• Ability to analyze and assess multiple data points, including blueprints, material costs, and timelines to deliver an accurate estimate on time and within budget
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License (required)
• Ability to work well in a team environment (required)
• Be self-motivated (required)
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
