A well-established and respected construction firm located in Livonia, MI is looking to fill a detail-oriented Construction Estimator position to oversee cost forecasting for major developments. This role involves advising on project costs, securing resources, and ensuring competitive estimates on major developments.
Role Description
This is a full-time onsite role for a Construction Estimator in Livonia, MI. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects. They will also collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely estimates. To this end, the construction estimator should obtain all relevant project specifications, determine the most appropriate building materials, and secure favorable prices on all resources. You'll also inspect trends in construction to determine whether your estimates are both reasonable and competitive.
