Job Summary

The position involves organizing and reviewing physical files to determine which documents should be shredded or uploaded to SharePoint. The role requires handling and preparing contracts for scanning, ensuring proper disposal of marked items, and maintaining a secure file management process. Candidates should have basic computer skills, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment..

Job Description

• Perform an initial inventory of the room to identify files that can be shredded.
• Request additional Iron Mountain shred bins – based on inventory.
• Remove binders, paper clips, staples, etc, and discard all marked items to the Iron Mountain shred bins.
• Review documents and determine what should be discarded and what should be uploaded.
• Organize files by contract for uploading to Sharepoint.
• Remove binders, paper clips, staples of remaining documents and discard in bin.
• Move organized files queued for upload to a secure location where they can be scanned and uploaded to Sharepoint. 
• Responsible for sorting through contracts, identifying contracts to keep and scanning them into a repository. (Contracts may be stored in boxes, shelves, binders, etc.)

Skills Required

• Computer experience required.
• Knowledge of how to read contracts is preferred, but not required.
• Oil, gas, construction industry experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move boxes.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift (up to 40lbs) for long periods of time.
• Regular, reliable attendance, must be a positive, pro-active, strong team participant with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School degree or GED

Pay Rate/Salary

• Starting at $20-25/hr depending on experience
