CONTROLLER

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Controller include, but are not limited to:

• Involvement in strategic financial planning for the organization
• Run the accounting department and manage the team; staff accountants, AR/AP
• Internal financial auditing
• Digital transformation
• Continuous improvement of processes
• Reporting and analysis, communicating results to leadership
• Foster and maintain relationships with banks, outside auditors and accounting firms
• Cash flow and tax optimization
• Budgeting cycle, capital spending, business insurance
• FP&A
• Metric creation and management of Key Performance Indicators
• Cost reduction planning and costing accuracy
• Asset management
• Cost accounting
• Organizational structure and development
• Regulatory compliance

*This is a full-time, in-person position operating out of the Lake in the Hills, IL location.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• CPA or CMA
• 10 years Controller experience
• Proven experience leading and developing teams
• Financial Planning & Analysis experience
• Month end reporting, budgeting and Key Performance Indicator responsibilities
• Demonstrated knowledge of and compliance with payroll and ERISA laws

Preferred

• Manufacturing industry experience
• Experience working for an international organization
• Experience working for a company with multiple enterprises

Desired

• Enterprise financial planning
• Demonstrated turnaround activity
• Experience working with sales to develop a forecast as a component of the budget

Salary: $125k - $145k + bonus
