We are seeking a skilled and proactive Copywriter to support high-impact promotional campaigns across email, paid social, and organic content channels. This temporary role requires experience writing persuasive, brand-aligned copy that drives engagement and conversions in fast-paced eCommerce environments. You’ll work cross-functionally with designers, marketers, and channel leads to produce campaign assets that are on-brief, on-brand, and on-time. 

This temporary position reports to the Senior Manager of Copy and is expected to work in a hybrid model, which currently includes Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in our Redwood City office. 

What you’ll do:

Campaign Copywriting 

• Write clear, engaging copy for promotional emails, landing pages, paid social ads, and organic social posts 
• Align messaging with campaign strategy, brand voice, and audience needs across all platforms 
• Develop compelling headlines, CTAs, and messaging frameworks that drive customer action 

Content Optimization & Delivery 

• Collaborate with channel owners to understand requirements and revise copy based on findings 
• Adapt messaging for different segments, platforms, and stages of the customer journey 
• Manage versioning and revisions across campaign assets in line with feedback and delivery deadlines 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Partner with designers to ensure copy and visuals align seamlessly 
• Participate in creative reviews and provide rationale for copy decisions 
• Communicate clearly with project stakeholders to clarify expectations and meet project timelines 

What you bring to the table:

• 5+ years of experience writing marketing copy, preferably in eCommerce or DTC brands 
• Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign-based work across email and social 
• Exceptional command of grammar, tone, and brand voice 
• Comfortable working with creative briefs, style guides, and feedback cycles 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt quickly in a deadline-driven environment 
• Familiarity with Figma and/or ClickUp (or similar project management platform) is a plus 
• Demonstrated AI literacy, enabling effective understanding, interaction, and critical evaluation of AI technologies and applications across diverse business functions 

Notes: This is a temporary position, expected to last 3-5 months.

The base pay rate for this position is: $45.00 – $54.00 per hour.
