Responsibilities:

• As a Cyber Security Analyst Senior, I am responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's cyber security assurance processes. My tasks include developing and implementing security policies and procedures, conducting security assessments, and monitoring the organization's cyber security posture. I will:
• Plan, prepare, and execute tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements, as well as analyze/report test results.
• Perform assessments of systems and networks within the network environment or enclave and identify any deviations from acceptable configurations, policies, or local policies.
• Measure the effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities.
• Establish strict program control processes to mitigate risks and support obtaining certification and accreditation of systems.
• Assist in the implementation of necessary government policy while making recommendations on process tailoring.
• Conduct analyses to validate established security requirements and recommend additional safeguards.
• Perform forensic analysis of digital information, gather and handle evidence, and identify network intrusion evidence and perpetrators.
• Support formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) through pre-test preparations and analysis of results, preparing required reports.
• Periodically review each system's audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed.
• Provide guidance and leadership to less-experienced cybersecurity personnel.
