Job Title: Data Analyst

Location : Secaucus, NJ - Remote

Duration: / Term: 6+ months Contract

Job Description:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to help the company make data-driven decisions.

The role requires a combination of technical skills, analytical thinking, and business acumen to turn data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Management:

Collect data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external sources.

Ensure data quality and integrity through regular audits and data cleaning.

Maintain databases and data systems, including regular updates and backups.

Data Analysis:

Analyze data using statistical techniques and provide reports.

Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets.

Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

Reporting and Visualization:

Create visualizations and dashboards to present data in a clear and concise manner.

Generate periodic reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Translate complex data findings into understandable insights and recommendations for business decisions.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, operations, and IT, to understand their data needs and provide insights.

Collaborate with data scientists and other analysts to develop predictive models and other advanced analytics.

Technical Skills:

Strong SQL

ETL Matillion

Quick sight BI preferred (or any other BI Tool experience)

Develop and maintain databases and data systems.

Continuous Improvement :

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analysis.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.

Qualifications /Experience:

7+ years proven experience as a data analyst or in a similar role.

Experience with data modeling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python).

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Soft Skills:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong business acumen and understanding of business processes.

Critical thinking and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Have good hands on experience in Schema, Rules, US Taxation, BSI , Tubs , 3rd party integration, reporting and interfaces.

Should have experience in Positive and negative time management

Good communication skills (both written & verbal).
