**Data Scientist** **Location: Herndon,Va** **TS/SCI With FSP REQUIRED** **Salary: $230k-245k** _The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position's responsibilities; the candidate's experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions._ **_This program requires US Citizenship_** 1. **Position: Data Scientist (SME) ($245K)** Location: Herndon Clearance: TS/SCI w/FSP The Contractor Team shall design, test, and integrate new security products as directed by the GTM. The Contractor Team shall integrate security products, including designs for all Sponsor networks. The Contractor Team shall provide technical oversight and direction to designated boards for integrating new technology or major new mission capabilities into the Sponsor environment, standards and structures. The Contractor Team shall engage with customers to determine the nature of requirement/analytic problem, evaluate options, and offer Information Technology (IT)-based recommendations. The Contractor Team shall resolve complex IT problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to Sponsor's standards and procedures. The Contractor Team shall plan, test, and integrate new and upgraded versions of the relevant IT components, systems, applications, tools. The Contractor Team shall identify opportunities to integrate and improve resources to accomplish customer needs. The Contractor Team shall review existing Information Technology (IT) programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improve current techniques. The Contractor Team shall strategically plan new designs for integration into a budget reconciliation database structure, using knowledge of the characteristics of the systems being added to the structure and the specifications for database interfaces to ensure effective integration and optimal database performance. The Contractor Team shall provide for the logical conversation of customer or product requirements into total system solutions. The Contractor Team shall review and acquire data from primary or secondary cost recovery data sources and maintain databases/data systems. The Contractor Team shall identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to include expenditure plan requirements, and business process analysis. The Contractor Team shall provide insight into industry trends and make recommendations on future direction; identify new technologies and assess their technical and performance characteristics. The Contractor Team shall support the development and monitoring of Sponsor its overall community-wide policy and procedures to support mission goals and operations. The Contractor Team shall stay abreast of Sponsor's directives, regulations, guidance, notices and standards. The Contractor Team analyze current processes, available tools in an effort to enhance the Sponsors change management processes. The Contractor Team shall be responsible for creating and executing a Sponsor-wide communications plan that facilitates timely and transparent flow of information. The Contractor Team shall respond to senior level leadership queries on activities. The Contractor Team shall be responsible for the development of all types of documents and reports by creating and updating graphics presentations to improve the quality and enhance the usability of these documents. **Required Skills:** 1. Demonstrated minimum of 5 years of experience tracking budgetary funds. 2. Demonstrated minimum of 5 years of experience with portfolio & resource management. 3. Demonstrated experience successfully utilizing exceptional customer service working directly with business and technical customers to communicate organizational accomplishments, status and direction to stakeholders' at all organizational levels. 4. Demonstrated experience developing use cases that improve the ability to find information in a more timely fashion. 5. Demonstrated experience in data analysis, requirements gathering, translations, and visualizing information in a clear way to explain the data at hand. 6. Demonstrated experience developing and managing project schedules, utilizing MS Project to identify critical tasks, and EVM for overall project status. 7. Demonstrated experience with resource allocation and optimizing resource assignments by identifying key resources and the right set of skill sets required for a project. 8. Demonstrated experience developing Minimum Viable Increments (MVIs) based on requirements gathered. 9. Demonstrated experience and background in Business/Financial areas. 10. Demonstrated experience successfully utilizing written communication skills to produce publishable documents. 11. Demonstrated experience working on both development and integration projects. **Desired Skills:** Demonstrated experience with Service Now. 2. Demonstrated experience with the Sponsors on site customer domain. 3.
