Job Description

Dispatchers paying $17/hr for a national corporation in the Boca Raton area. This position will be responsible for answering inbound calls and email requests from customers.

These positions are LONG TERM TEMPORARY and are available IMMEDIATELY!!!

These positions are ON SITE!!

The hours are Sunday-Thursday 1:00pm-10:00pm or Saturday-Wednesday 1:00pm-10:00pm.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispatch codes, first line maintenance calls and emergency requests
• Document and communicate between Service Techs and the customer
• Respond to customer’s needs when contacted
• Act as a liaison between customers and route personnel via telephone and radio
• Research and resolve customer inquiries.
• Provide access information (alarm codes, etc.) to routes and technicians
• Direct incoming phone calls to others using the internal paging system.
• Provide routing and directions to armored routes and technicians
• Receive customer calls for service and dispatches first line maintenance technicians for repairs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
• Minimum of 1-year previous dispatch/customer experience is preferred
• Basic computer skills for data input
• Must be able to read a map and provide clear instructions to route crews
• Familiarity with the service area is preferred
• Must demonstrate clarity and proficiency in oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to communicate clearly by telephone
• Ability to think clearly and respond in a fast-paced environment while under significant pressure
• Ability to work well independently and as a team member
