Private Client and Tax Attorney

A leading global practice specializing in the personal and private capital needs of high-net-worth individuals and families seeks a skilled attorney to join its New York office. The practice provides highly tailored advice on domestic and international tax, estate planning, trust administration, and fiduciary matters, serving clients with complex, cross-border wealth planning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and advise on sophisticated estate planning documents, including trusts, leveraged gifting strategies, and tax-efficient wealth structures.
• Conduct tax analyses and assist with estate and trust administration.
• Address estate, gift, and GST taxation issues and prepare related filings.
• Identify and advise on cross-border and income tax matters.
• Engage in business development activities, including writing, networking, and attending conferences to build long-term client relationships.

Qualifications:

• J.D. with strong academic credentials; LL.M. preferred.
• 4-6 years of trusts, estates, or private client experience.
• Admission to the New York Bar.
• Expertise in domestic and international estate and tax planning.
• Exceptional drafting, research, and communication skills.

Location:

New York

Compensation:

$225,000 - $270,000, based on experience.
