Olin Chlor Alkali Products and Vinyls, a division of Olin Corporation, is seeking a Temporary Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, who will be employed through the third-party staffing agency named above. This position will be located at the Niagara Falls, NY manufacturing site. In this role, you will guide, assist and train others on key projects and provide support to the capital project group. Essential Functions:Guide/assist/train others on CPMS project and MOC development for DCS migration projects.Develop Capital Projects regarding justification, scope, schedule, and cost estimate to prepare documents to obtain funding approval, particularly for DCS migration projects for Boiler BMS, and North Plant.Prepare detailed scope of project in conjunction with process engineering, maintenance, safety, environmental and manufacturing departments, particularly for DCS migration projects for Boiler BMS, and North Plant.Work with procurement resources to develop requests for proposals, evaluate bids and select vendors, fabricators and contractors that provide best value.Provide input to construction, fabrication and installation labor contracts, through Purchasing, to ensure project objectives are identified and met, particularly for DCS migration projects for Modicon Part 2, Boiler BMS, and North Plant.Support field construction efforts through interpretation of plans, specifications, and schedules. Work with assigned construction personnel to ensure a safe, timely and cost-effective project.Assure the technical correctness of the project by coordinating the review of all drawings, specifications and equipment inquiries.Position Requirements:Bachelor's degree* in Engineering; Chemical engineering preferred.5+ years of project experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.Experience in contractor management and leading a project team.Experience using SAP, AutoCAD, PSM, and computerized project management systems preferred.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and attention to detail.Knowledge of applicable industrial standards, i.e. ASME, API, ANSI, ASTM.Thorough understanding of manufacturing equipment, i.e. tanks, pumps, piping, HVAC, industrial refrigeration, etc.Occasional travel (Up to 10%) may be required.Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.
