Responsibilities

Noblis is seeking to hire an ETL Developer with an ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance.

As an ETL Developer, you will be a key player in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of data across systems. You will design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and other storage solutions. You will work closely will data analysts, database administrators, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions that support business intelligence and reporting efforts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing, sustaining, and improving the current system data ingest functions and make adjustments , as needed, by performing analysis, monitoring and configuring the solution .
  • Develop ETL mappings to extract data from a source data system (databases, files, etc.), transform the data based on business requirements and load the data into a target data system (databases, files, etc.).
  • Conduct performance tuning of the mappings developed to ensure that the data is extracted, transformed, and loaded in a reasonable amount of time based on the requirements.
  • Develop Business Intelligence (BI) reports using BI software and perform unit testing of the reports developed.
  • Create or update detailed design information.
  • Access and review the code repository, administer code reviews, adjust unit testing, maintain build support, including continuous integration, sustain operational support activities and respond to mission critical requests.
  • Work with application development tools, standards and languages.
  • Work on multiple phases of the Development Life Cycle (requirements, design, development, testing and deployment) of BI Dashboard and reports.
  • Develop required documentation in support of the development life cycle.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (in computer science, data science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline) with 8 years of experience; Additional six (6) years of experience is considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, data analysis, data query, data aggregation, data visualization, software development, system architecture, data transformation, data management, and big data technology.
  • Experienced in writing complex statements, scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views implement business intelligence and data warehousing solutions.
  • Solid foundation in, and application of, data warehousing and reporting platform concepts with ability to recommend solutions and drive best practices.
  • Experience with data pipelines to include data extraction, transformation, integration, and loading.
  • Experience developing, monitoring , and troubleshooting ETL workflows and processes.

  • ActiveTop Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility


Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with multiple business intelligence environments is preferred.
  • Experience operating in a scaled agile ( SAFe ) environment.
  • Experience with Atlassian Suite of tools; Jira, Confluence.
  • Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation, teamwork and follow through.
  • Strong professional and interpersonal skills.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

Posted Salary Range

USD $93,420.00 - USD $146,005.00 /Yr.
