**Event Server** **Job Reference Number:** 30099 **Employment Type:** Part-Time **Segment:** Dining & Events **Brand:** Constellation **State:** California (US-CA) **The Role at a glance:** We are looking to add an enthusiastic, friendly event server to our Catering team in San Francisco, CA. As an event server, you will have the opportunity to engage a diverse clientele across a variety of events. **What you'll be doing:** + Greeting customers, explaining menu items, taking and delivering orders, and continuing with follow-up items. + Setting up and breaking down all front of house and back of house bars and beverage stations. + Performing food service as needed. + Customer service, including describing and recommending menu items. + Ensuring that service follows health code regulations. + Basic customer service interactions. + Following standard recipes to mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests of the service bar if also working as a bartender. **What we're looking for:** _Must-haves:_ + Excellent communication and organization skills. + Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge. + At least 18 years old. + Ability to memorize and describe a variety of recipes, especially for mixed beverages if also working as a bartender. + Prior bartending experience if you are also bartending. + A valid state bartending license if you are also bartending. + At least one year of foodservice experience in a catering or restaurant setting. **Compensation:** $25 an hour. **Our Benefits:** + Medical (FT Employees) + Dental + Vision + Voluntary UNUM offering for Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity + Discount Program + Commuter Benefits (Parking and Transit) + EAP + 401k + Sick Time + Holiday Pay (9 paid holidays) + Tuition Reimbursement (FT Employees) + Paid Time Off \#LI-DM1 \#indeedelior **About Constellation:** From retail spaces to office buildings, Constellation provides high-quality business dining and catering experiences all over the United States.
