We are seeking a capable and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and security of our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth daily operations of our physical environment, including managing staff, coordinating maintenance activities, and implementing safety protocols. The Facility Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing budgets related to facility operations.

Responsibilities:

Facility Operations Management:

  1. Oversee the daily operations of all facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  2. Manage facility staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  3. Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.
  4. Monitor and maintain facility systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.

Safety and Security:

  1. Implement and oversee safety programs and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
  2. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  3. Coordinate with security personnel and systems to protect company assets and employees.

Budget Management:

  1. Develop and manage facility budgets, including forecasting and approving expenditures.
  2. Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective services.
  3. Monitor expenses and control costs related to facility operations.

Environmental Sustainability:

  1. Implement and promote sustainable practices within the facilities.
  2. Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and waste reduction initiatives.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  1. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facility management.
  2. Develop emergency response plans and procedures.
  3. Manage risks associated with facility operations and take proactive measures to mitigate them.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Proven experience as a Facility Manager or similar role.
  3. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.
  4. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  5. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  6. Budget management experience.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
