Position Summary : As a Field Service Engineer based in Marcy, NY, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of our cutting-edge systems and applications. Your expertise in troubleshooting, installing, and testing software systems, along with your knowledge of mechanical and electrical components, will contribute to our mission of delivering top-notch service and support to our clients. This role offers opportunities for growth, continuous learning, and travel across North America, with occasional visits to our headquarters in Germany.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform troubleshooting, preventive, and corrective maintenance on advanced manufacturing equipment.

• Install, test, and fine-tune software systems to ensure peak performance.

• Conduct detailed function testing of system components and adjust mechanical and electrical components as needed.

• Provide phone support for hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution.

• Implement customer training courses to enhance user knowledge and system efficiency.

• Maintain activity documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Travel primarily within North America, with occasional travel to Germany.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance and installation.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems, PLC/PC controls, servo drives, and mechanical systems.

• Experience with software installation and testing on complex systems.

• Strong documentation and communication skills.

• Availability for on-call service outside of business hours.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Valid driver’s license, passport, and work permit.
