Position : Financial Analyst

Working Schedule : 8am-5pm CST or EST

Salary Range : $1,800-$2,500 USD Monthly

We’re looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis professional to work on building financial models, maintaining forecasts, and operating budgets (annual, quarterly, monthly) for clients. You will report to the CFO who’s working across several companies. This contract can become an ongoing project. This contract includes working across multiple clients at once. The FP&A professional should feel comfortable working with 8-10 clients at once. 

Must be experienced in e-commerce, retail, and CPG verticals. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Build financial models and operating models for clients 
• Oversee and manage the creation and development of budgets 
• Review and evaluate client KPIs established by leadership teams; build dashboards 
• Performs variance and trend analysis for departmental expenses and strategic projects 
• Ensures data accuracy in financial models, ensuring alignment and reconciliation between managerial analysis and accounting books 
• Assists in the research, analysis, and compilation of data input to create appropriate data set for business plans/cases to address corporate initiatives 
• Prepare presentations, reporting and forecasts for senior management teams of clients and board members 
• Drive fundraising initiatives for both debt and equity raises (e.g. putting together credit packages for lenders or editing pitch decks for startups) 
• Work closely with CFO and Controller internally to support client needs
• Support ad-hoc reporting, projects and strategic initiatives 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis. 
• 5+ years financial modeling and cash forecasting experience is required. 
• BBA in Finance and/or Accounting. MBA is a plus. 
• Must have multi-client experience (ability to manage multiple clients at once)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills 
• Synthesize meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data, and the ability to discuss these findings with senior management 
• Firm grasp of accounting principles and GAAP 
• Proactive, solutions-oriented and client-centric attitude 
• Experience using QBO and Xero. Experience in NetSuite is a plus 
• Must be proficient in QuickBooks. Go in to populate and update models without training and/or assistance.
• Advanced in: Excel, Google Sheets and Powerpoint
