What You'll Do
As a Financial Consultant (Retirement Consultant), you will be an integral part of our Empower Personal Wealth sales team, assisting customers during key life moments. Your role will involve:
- Providing over-the-phone guidance to customers, especially during life events such as starting or ending employment, regarding their retirement accounts.
- Discussing and recommending account options, including 401(k) and IRAs, to align with customers' retirement savings goals.
- Educating customers on their retirement plans and comparing options to best support their savings.
- Building and nurturing customer relationships to enhance their experience with us.
We believe in advancing your career. New Financial Consultants have the opportunity to progress to Senior Financial Consultant roles, increasing your earning potential. Our compensation package includes a competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives.
What You'll Bring
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably in an inside sales role.
- Current FINRA licenses or the ability to obtain FINRA 7 & 63 registrations within established timelines.
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to quickly learn and apply new information.
- Strong sales, relationship management, and customer service skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and a knack for engaging with customers, asking insightful questions, and offering tailored solutions.
What Will Set You Apart
- Experience with inbound or phone-based sales.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- A solid understanding of IRAs, retirement investment products/services, and the retirement plan environment.
- A growth mindset and drive to meet both individual and team sales goals.
Remote Work Opportunity
This position can be performed remotely. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S., as we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Base Salary Range
$52,000 - $64,000 per year. Sales positions may also be eligible for additional incentives and bonuses based on individual performance.
