In this role, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and engineering, to drive cost optimization initiatives and ensure our cloud investments align with our strategic objectives. Your contributions will directly impact the financial health and sustainability of our mission-critical portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain advanced cost reporting tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud spending with operational needs.
Provide expert guidance on FinOps best practices.
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented FinOps Analyst with a strong background in cloud financial management and cost optimization. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large-scale cloud environments across an enterprise IT portfolio.
You should be skilled in analyzing complex cloud cost structures, identifying savings opportunities, and implementing cost management strategies that deliver value for our clients. You Have:
7+ years of experience in DoD and DON Financial Management.
4+ years of experience in cloud financial management, focusing on cost optimization strategies and monitoring utilization.
Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for cloud services and licenses.
Familiarity with supporting Microsoft Azure awards and managing task order processes.
Knowledge of cloud consumption commitments, platforms, and cost management tools.
Ability to create and manage detailed financial reports, analyzing spending patterns, and presenting findings to leadership.
Capability to present complex financial findings through Cloud Governance boards and cross-portfolio channels.
A Secret clearance.
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration from an accredited institution.
Nice If You Have:
Experience with ServiceNow.
Skills in developing Microsoft Power BI visualizations.
Knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework.
Understanding of vendor contracts and task order management.
Familiarity with Technology Business Management (TBM) and SaFE methodologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
FinOps Certified Practitioner Certification.
Azure Cloud Certification.
AWS Cloud Certification.
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is required.

Salary for this position ranges from $67,700 to $154,000 annually, depending on factors such as location and individual qualifications.
