Position Overview The Home Packaging team is seeking a motivated and curious Graphic Design Assistant to work on artwork updates and in season artwork designs. The Graphic Design Assistant will work on projects from start to finish, have the ability to handle artwork approvals, and have ownership of their projects. This role responsible for ensuring artwork is on brand and accurate to our brand guidelines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Responsible for creating custom artwork and updating any rolling artwork changes for reordered product
* Execute projects from concept to final approval
* Responsible for updating our brand guidelines when rolling out new packaging initiatives
* Manage and work closely with third party suppliers and factories for artwork execution
* Ambassador of the brand while working with suppliers and checking to make sure artwork is executed accordingly
* Manage relationship with Marketing, Merchandising and Product Management on all packaging initiatives
* Experience with photography including, editing, sending color comments, and color correcting proofs. This includes file size, lighting, color balance, and retouching
* Experience reviewing samples for content, color, and quality
* Maintain an organized library of all artwork files.
* Ability to change priorities to meet deadlines as well as work across multiple timelines
* Create packaging mockups
* End-to-end milestones pertaining to concept review, line plan handoff, midpoint review, and showroom walk through
* Concepting using Adobe Suite, PLM, and physical samples #LI-LF2 #LI-HYBRID
Experience, Skills & Knowledge * Graphic Design/Packaging experience
* Experienced in the Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Suite
* Excellent typography skills
* Great attention to detail and very organized
* Experience working with dyelines and print proof photography
* Has worked directly with factories and suppliers for packaging production
* Excellent communication and time management
* An enthusiastic team player
