We are looking to fill the role of a Graphic Designer. To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. 

Responsibilities:

• · Develops graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
• · Utilizes request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests
• · Coordinates with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience
• · Creates graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
• · Develops design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online
• · Ensures products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
• · Conducts technical quality checks
• · Manages an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles
• · Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps

Qualifications:

• Requires BA/BS and 3+ years of experience or no degree and 9 years of experience.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance required. Note: U.S. TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance requires U.S. Citizenship. 
• Experience with the following:
  • Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
  • Front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS
  • Photography and video editing
  • Mentoring and trains junior staff
  • Creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user-friendly experience
  • Creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
  • Developing design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online
  • Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
  • Conducting technical quality checks
