Position Summary:

MTA/Yeshiva University High School for Boys is looking for a dynamic, caring, organized, knowledgeable and thoughtful History teacher to serve as an instructor from January 29 - April 15, 2024.

Position Responsibilities:

The candidate will teach a variety of sections of 10th grade World History, including Modern World History and AP EURO, both with an emphasis on Regents preparation.

Experience & Educational Background:

Teaching experience is highly preferred, Bachelor's degree is required. Rate commensurate with experience and education.

Skills & Competencies:

The ideal candidate will first and foremost be passionate about student growth as well as the teaching of World History, and have a warm and engaging personality that can be used in developing meaningful relationships with each student. They will have mastery of educational pedagogy and the subject matter. We are looking for an experienced teacher who is comfortable working with both students and colleagues, and who is intentional about their educational approach.

Salary Range:

$8,000 - $13,000
