Position Overview:
We are looking for a Lab Assistant Program Chair to join our Cleveland Campus. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Campus Administration/Campus Dean to manage the Lab Assistant program and ensure a high-quality learning environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Uphold all policies and procedures while adhering to state and federal regulations and accreditation standards.
Collaborate with faculty to develop and enhance the curriculum for the department.
Support the recruitment, orientation, and training of new faculty members.
Provide thoughtful recommendations regarding employee status changes, including hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
Use your discretion and independent judgment in specific subject areas under your guidance.
Assist in organizing student orientations and graduation ceremonies and participate in these events.
Coordinate Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings within your department and actively engage in discussions.
Monitor student attendance and retention rates, implementing strategies to support student success.
Stay informed about technological advancements in the field and integrate these changes into the program.
Supervise, coordinate, and lead the work of all faculty and staff within your academic program.
Collaborate with the Director of Campus Administration/Campus Dean to achieve academic program objectives and ensure positive outcomes.
Teach courses as required and travel as needed.
Complete additional duties or special projects as assigned.
Foster professional and effective relationships with all campus personnel.
Represent the campus positively in both professional and personal interactions.
Perform on-site duties as required, with remote work options available when appropriate, in accordance with Human Resource policies.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED.
A minimum of three (3) years of practical work experience in a related field.
At least one (1) year of in-class teaching experience is preferred.
