MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Overview:
The Warehouse Maintenance Mechanic is essential to our facilities management team. This role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work to ensure smooth operations within JLL standards. You will collaborate with site personnel and vendors, maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems at our commercial property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Respond promptly to trouble tickets/work orders.
• Communicate project statuses and updates via email.
• Conduct general repairs and maintenance of plumbing and electrical components.
• Maintain accurate records, operation logs, and documentation.
• Inspect facilities regularly, manage work requests, and track equipment life cycles.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure property success.
• Support JLL and client Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) culture.
• Perform detailed site inspections and manage outcomes.
• Uphold JLL’s Operational Compliance Program.
• Promote a safe working environment and develop positive client relationships.
• Coordinate work schedules with vendors and clients.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in commercial HVAC or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and customer service orientation.
• Ability to operate a scissor lift at 40 feet.
• Experience with overhead and dock doors, lighting maintenance, and loading ramps.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform site inspections.

Location: San Antonio, TX

Salary: $25-$28/hr
