We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Hourly Technician - Lean. This position will be based at our new and growing facility in Fort Worth, TX.
You’ll make an impact by:
* Supporting projects to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory while working with multifunctional teams to achieve plant goals.
* Developing standards and work instructions while participating in and supporting Lean activities and training across the facility.
* Conducting problem investigations, cause analysis, implementation, and follow-up.
* Developing/maintaining systems associated with production processes.
* Crafting layouts and flows to establish good visual management.
* Collaborating with manufacturing, contractors, and suppliers from project implementation.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
* 3+ years supporting manufacturing in a technical role.
* Proficient in basic shop math, tools, and equipment.
* Basic computer skills including Microsoft office.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
* Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English Language.
* Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Two-year technical degree or equivalent.
* Experience applying Lean Six Sigma concepts in a Manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD or similar software applications.
* Knowledge of electrical, mechanical assembly processes.
* SAP Knowledge.
