We are looking for a Marketing Specialist who has a passion for sustainability. We are a small but mighty marketing team ready to add another member. This person is thoughtful and self-reflective and has a willingness to learn. Has marketing experience emphasizing email marketing, campaign setup, strategy and analysis. This position will cover various marketing responsibilities, from direct-mail and email strategy to marketing data analysis.

Position Responsibilities:

Email Marketing

• Experience in setting up, implementing, maintaining, and analyzing email marketing campaigns/journeys. We use Ortto/Autopilot but experience in Hubspot, Marketo, Mailchimp, Klaviyo or similar would be fine.
• Strong understanding of online marketing, with experience in performance environments and a desire to test and learn
• Experience in list growth and audience segmentation, UTM tracking
• Stay up to date with all the best practices, emerging trends, and principles of email and SMS programs
• Able to work and understand Zapier to connect software API and move data around
• Able to navigate a CRM for analytics (we use Zendesk Sell, but salesforce or similar is fine)
• Report on the success of email campaigns

General Marketing

• Direct mail support - label, print, and ship
• Review Meta comments and respond
• Assist marketing manager with daily responsibilities and special projects
• Engage in marketing strategy creative build
• Knowledge of basic Shopify + WordPress template changes
• Able to navigate Asana for project updates

Hourly Rate: $25 - $29/hr

Work Location: Woodland, CA On-site only (no remote work available)
