We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as AI Testers and Data Annotators. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with backgrounds in customer service, administration, healthcare, retail, or similar fields.
Role Summary
In this role, you'll contribute to projects aimed at improving search engine relevance by analyzing user intent and evaluating search results specifically for the Mexican Spanish language and culture. You'll handle various data-related tasks, including annotation and quality assurance, in a collaborative on-site setting at our client's Uptown Central San Antonio office. This position requires close attention to detail and the ability to follow guidelines, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Your tasks will evolve depending on project needs but typically fall into these areas:
Search Evaluation
Assess and grade search results to improve the relevance and accuracy of online search functions.
Analyze the intent behind search queries to help optimize the search grading process, contributing directly to the development of AI-driven tools.
Data Annotation
Accurately label and tag data, such as images and text, following specific guidelines.
Conduct multimodal data annotation, which requires understanding various data types and the context of the information being tagged.
Multiple-Choice Question Generation
Develop clear, high-quality multiple-choice questions to support AI training and educational programs.
Quality Assurance
Review and validate annotations to maintain consistency and quality across datasets.
Perform thorough checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to project standards.
Data Processing
Work with large data sets, completing tasks within set project deadlines while keeping a keen eye on detail and precision.
Qualifications
Recent graduates encouraged to apply—no prior experience required!
Tech-savvy, with a preference for candidates familiar with Mac operating systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
Excellent time-management skills to handle time-sensitive tasks efficiently.
Must be able to commute to San Antonio, TX, and work on-site, Monday through Friday.
Additional Details
This is an independent contract role through our staffing partner. Although the primary position is on-site, additional flexible remote roles are available for U.S.-based candidates, allowing for a schedule of 10 to 40 hours per week. Contractors have the flexibility to set their own schedules.
