Job Description
Salary: $93,500 - 126,500 per year Requirements:
- BA/BS or equivalent and 5+ years of experience, or equivalent years of experience
- Proven work experience as a Network Engineer
- Active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or willingness to obtain it
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Extensive experience with network infrastructure documentation
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing technology environment
- Comprehensive understanding of network services and networks such as TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VPLS, and MPLS
- Experience with multi-tenant network architectures
- Strong knowledge of BGP routing protocols, including route manipulation, redistribution, and filtering
- Experience with multiple firewall vendors: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco
- Advanced knowledge of network protocols and technologies such as OSPF, MPLS, VRF, IPsec, GRE, and SSL
- Experience with network monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques
Responsibilities: - As a Network Engineer with us, you will:
- Work as a member of a projects engineering team to design, implement, and manage network infrastructure and services in on-premise data centers and cloud environments
- Analyze customer requirements and provide technical solutions to complex problems
- Perform maintenance and upgrades of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and remote access systems
- Maintain network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintain system backup and recovery capability
- Coordinate the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network infrastructure
- Lead projects related to the design and provisioning of network infrastructure and security components
- Evaluate new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
- Coach and mentor less-experienced professionals

The typical salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500, which may vary based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This position also includes a hybrid telecommuting option, requires travel of 10-25%, and operates on a 40-hour work week.
