A renowned and historic hospital near Portland is in search of a new Nurse Manager of Oncology Infusion Clinic.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the Oncology setting, Outpatient setting, Infusion Services, and management skills. The Nurse Manager of Oncology Infusion Clinic will report directly to the Oncology Service Line Director. This person will be supported by an assistant nurse manager, and 15+ Senior Oncology RNs, all working together to provide comprehensive care to this specific population of patients. This Nurse will have the opportunity to continue growth and development of their career under the direction and mentorship of a great team in a world-class department.
This well developed Cancer Center consists of state of the art technology, servicing a 600+ bed not-for-profit hospital as well as patients being treated for their cancer in an outpatient setting. The Nurse Manager of Oncology Infusion Clinic will join a department that is known for excellent care and playing a significant role in quality and treatment.
The Nurse Manager of Oncology Infusion Clinic will be in charge of overseeing that ambulatory oncology care provided by nurses is efficient and thorough. This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with the Director of Oncology and physicians to achieve the highest level of operational and clinical efficiency that aligns with the hospital’s standards and values. The Nurse Manager of Oncology Infusion Clinic will also have opportunities to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives.
