Salary 112,500 - 132,000 USD per year

Requirements:

- - I have 10+ years of experience in supporting highly customer-focused mission-critical environments (e.g., high-profile internet-based applications or enterprise infrastructure).
- I possess 5+ years of experience engineering, administering, or supporting Oracle IaaS/PaaS solutions.
- I am knowledgeable in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure service components.
- I have experience implementing and supporting OCI-based instances and services (e.g., Compute, Network, Storage, Dockers, DBCS, ExaCS, ADW, ATP, etc.).
- I have experience administering and maintaining scalable and auto-scaled environments using automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform/Ansible/Puppet/Chef).

Responsibilities:

- 1. I have relevant experience as a systems administrator in a systems operations role.
2. I have experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administration.
3. I possess strong knowledge of Linux system administration.
4. I am experienced in monitoring and auditing systems.
5. I have the ability to translate architectural requirements.
6. I can deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
7. I have the capability to select the appropriate services based on compute, data, or security requirements.
8. I can estimate usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms.
9. I have the ability to migrate on-premises workload to cloud service providers.
10. I am skilled in working with virtualization technology.
11. I can implement cloud security services.
12. I am capable of working with third-party SaaS providers and third-party development partners on integration.
13. I have the ability to implement cloud infrastructure designs provided by architects.
14. I can lead and contribute to the development, maintenance, and usage of deployment and task automation (OS, database services, virtual networks, or other platform services).
15. I have experience in scripting (BASH, Perl, Ruby, PowerShell, Python) and building required automation using standard technologies such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef.
16. I have experience with server OS and storage technologies.
17. I am skilled in the administration and deployment of OIC integration.
18. I have experience with the administration and deployment of APEX, OKE.
19. I have good relevant experience in Oracle core database administration skills.
20. I have excellent oral and written communication skills.

The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 and $132,000, depending on the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This role is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
