Position Overview:
Join our team as an Elementary Online Teaching Assistant! In this role, you'll collaborate closely with lead teachers to provide invaluable support and guidance to students in a virtual learning environment. This is a part-time position for the upcoming Summer 2024 session, with exciting opportunities for transition into full-time employment for the 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and small group instruction to students under the supervision of lead teachers.
Assist with progress monitoring, grading, and administrative tasks.
Support students' academic, personal, and emotional needs, including those with special needs.
Facilitate virtual learning sessions and utilize provided curriculum and resources.
Maintain open communication with teachers, parents/guardians, and administration regarding student progress.
Adhere to professional standards and ethics, including confidentiality of student information.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to create a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:

Friendly and positive attitude with a passion for supporting students, teachers, and parents.
Understanding of the developmental needs of K-5 students and ability to engage and motivate them.
Knowledge of educational procedures and objectives, with the ability to adapt instruction as needed.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in using online tools for remote work.
Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
Associate's degree or equivalent education required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Hours and Compensation:

Part-time position starting at $20/hr for the Summer 2024 session.
Opportunities for full-time employment for the 2024-2025 school year, with compensation ranging from $29,640 to $32,670 depending on experience.
Full-time positions include benefits such as insurance, retirement, and paid leave, along with necessary home office equipment and connectivity support.
