Operational Controller

We are a large family-owned distribution company with several decades of success. We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Controller to join our team and drive our financial operations forward.
*Position Summary:*
The Operational Controller will play a key role in managing our financial operations, focusing on ERP implementation, reporting, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP). This position reports to the CFO and COO and requires strong experience in distribution, manufacturing, and inventory management. Experience in the construction industry, including dealing with liens, is a significant plus.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- *ERP Management:* Oversee ERP implementation and optimization to ensure seamless financial operations.
- *Financial Reporting* Generate and analyze financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
- *AR and AP Oversight:* Manage AR and AP functions, including supervising the AR Manager and their team of four, as well as two AP staff members.
- *Bank Relations:* Maintain and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- *Strategic Financial Management:* Collaborate with the CFO and COO to drive financial strategy and performance.
*Qualifications:*
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in financial management within the distribution, manufacturing, or inventory sectors.
- Strong ERP knowledge and implementation experience.
- Excellent financial reporting and analytical skills.
- Experience in the construction industry or dealing with liens is a significant advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Proven track record of managing financial operations and teams effectively.
