Responsibilities:

Administrative support:

  • Keep track of discovery requests and submissions.
  • Organize and maintain discovery documents, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Compile and prepare necessary materials for discovery processes.
  • Draft and proofread legal correspondence, memos, and documents.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date physical and electronic files.

Paralegal Experience:

  • Utilize paralegal skills to assist with legal research and document preparation.
  • Coordinate and organize legal meetings, depositions, and hearings.
  • Conduct legal research as needed.

Document Filing and Organization:

  • File legal documents with the appropriate courts and agencies.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date physical and electronic case files.
  • Ensure compliance with filing deadlines and requirements.

Legal Meetings:

  • Schedule and coordinate legal meetings, hearings, and depositions.
  • Assist in preparing meeting agendas and necessary documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification preferred, or equivalent work experience as an administrative assistant with a focus on paralegal duties.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
