EMS Outreach
Community Paramedicine
Provides with a platform to improve the operations and sustainability of emergency, non-emergency, critical care, and pediatric patient transport services.

The Paramedic, under the supervision of the EMS Supervisor and the ED Director, is responsible for providing pre-hospital treatment of patients requiring care as the result of illness|injury in addition to assessing a patient's condition and determine a course of treatment at the Advanced Life Support level.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED Required
Completion of study at an accredited college or school for Paramedics

1 year pre-hospital experience at the ALS level is preferred, while previous work experience is considered

Exhibits proficiency in pre-hospital care, has strong written and oral communication skills, as well as attention to detail


Licenses|Certificates:

Paramedic certification for PA Required
Valid PA drivers license with Bureau of EMS approved Emergency Vehicle Operations course
American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certification (required)
Hazmat awareness, NIMS 100, 200, 700 & 800 proof of completion
