The Noel Lab ( noel-lab.org ) in the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis) is seeking to hire a Post-Doctoral Associate (expectation for 2-3 years). The ideal candidate will be a recent (or about to) graduate with a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. The candidate will interact with colleagues from the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain () and will take the lead within the Noel Lab in conducting human EEG experiments both in neurotypical and divergent (e.g., autism) adults, adolescents, and children. Ideally the candidate will have an interest in perception, multisensory integration, the Bayesian brain, computational psychiatry or neuroscience, and would intellectually benefit from being in a multi-disciplinary environment with access to single cell recordings in animal models. The candidate will be (at least partially) supported by a T32 training grant and thus will benefit from programmatic career development opportunities. The ideal candidate will seek to further their training and scientific contributions in cognitive and computational neuroscience/psychiatry.

- Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- Ability to communicate science in English, best demonstrated by a track record of peer-reviewed publications and/or oral presentation.
Preferred:
- Experience with electroencephalography (EEG) and/or eye-tracking
- Interest and ability in computational techniques (e.g., Bayesian modeling, neural networks)
- Interest and/or prior experience in working with neurodivergent populations
