Executive Chef and Owner Philippe Massoud has built ilili’s reputation as a culinary go-to destination for elevated Lebanese cuisine. ilili’s restaurants are a vibrant and bustling meeting place where the refinement of neighborhoods meets the generosity of Lebanese hospitality.  

As a Prep Cook at ilili , you are an ambassador of hospitality with a curiosity to explore Lebanese, Levantine, and Middle-Eastern inspired cuisine.  

Key Responsibilities:  

• Refer to daily prep list at the start of each shift for assigned duties. Complete all opening and closing duties as assigned  

• Comply consistently with standard portion sizes, preparation methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, and general policies and procedures  

• Maintain a safe and clean work station from start to finish  

• Ensure all food items are properly stored and tagged, date-labeled, covered, and rotated effectively  

• Communicate with other team members and management regarding food items and orders . Promptly reports to management any quality or quantity issues of the product  

• Train new Prep Cooks (as needed) on delivering excellent service while maintaining standard shift responsibilities noted above; such training to occur on-the-job with new Prep Cooks shadowing you as you perform your key responsibilities  

• Assist fellow team members as needed to ensure seamless customer experience  

As a member of our tea m you should have :  

• A minimum of 1 year experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment  

• Ability to communicate clearly with Managers, kitchen team, and FOH staff  

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach for up to 9 hours and up to 40 lbs  

• A strong attention to detail, organization, and elevated sense-of-urgency  

• Proven track record of dependability and a passion for hospitality  

• Flexible availability: w eekends, nights, and holiday availability is a must !
