Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a part-time Professional Rater I to join the team on the Adolescent Brain and Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study at Washington University in St. Louis. The ABCD Study is a large-scale study to determine how childhood experiences interact with each other and with a childâ™s changing biology to affect brain development and social, behavioral, academic, health, and other outcomes. As a Professional Rater I, you will work with youth and adult participants representative of the St. Louis community at their annual ABCD study visits.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, screens and schedules subjects for study per protocol.
  • Performs phlebotomy and skin testing in accordance with study guidelines.
  • Administers/scores standard tests, dependent on study.
  • Refers patients to resources available in community and social services.
  • Maintains proper documentation and record keeping.
  • Monitors and orders supplies necessary for study.
  • Delivers study samples to lab for testing.
  • Prepares information packets for patients enrolled in study.
  • May receive training from Professional Rater II, Professional Rater III or others based on organizational structure.

Salary Range

$17.34 - $25.40 / Hourly
