Working Conditions

Employees of CalVet will be required to follow state or county public health guidelines and requirements enacted in accordance with infectious disease prevention and control.

This position is located in the Nursing Department of the Veterans Home of California-Chula Vista  and is responsible for resident care duties in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) unit and may act as a lead in the absence of the shift lead.

Working overtime is a requirement of this p osition.

This position is subject to the Post and Bid requirements for Bargaining Unit 17.

Special Requirements

The position requires a California Registered Nurse License and a CPR Certificate. You will be required to provide a copy of your license and CPR card prior to being hired.
