Respiratory Therapist - Travel Position Location: Williston, ND Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12s Days Pay: $2,482.20/week Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, technical skills, and a commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities: * Assess, plan, and provide respiratory treatments and therapies under physician direction. * Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation management. * Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas sampling and pulmonary function testing. * Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment safely and effectively. * Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust care plans as needed. * Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes. * Educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment use. * Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team. * Respond promptly to emergencies, including Code Blue and Rapid Response situations.
