Job Description
Our busy quick service restaurant is looking for a motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities to fill the position of shift manager. As the shift manager, it will be your responsibility to oversee the staff, greet and serve customers, and manage the restaurant during a specific shift. You will work alongside team members to make sure food and beverages are delivered to customers quickly. This role is responsible for scheduling employees, assigning them tasks, handling client complaints, and ensuring that all food and drink safety regulations are followed. Our ideal candidate has a history of working in a quick service or fast food restaurant, strong organizational skills, and supervisory experience. Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer issues in a timely, efficient, and polite manner
- Delegate activities to employees and make sure they are executed efficiently and successfully to ensure quick service of all food and beverage
- Instruct the staff on safety procedures, customer service best practices, and restaurant cleanliness requirements
- Maintain and ensure that each site is well stocked, order supplies, and arrange the product delivery
- Schedule shifts, train and oversee restaurant employees to boost productivity levels and compliance

- Supervise and coordinate team members during shifts
- Ensure food quality and service standards are met
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Train and mentor team members to enhance performance
- Assist in managing inventory levels and placing orders as needed
Qualifications:
- Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
- Previous management or supervisory experience is required
- Experience with MS Office and other computer skills desired
- Must have previous experience in food service and the ability to perform various roles of restaurant crew, preferably in fast food or quick service
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
- Experience in the food service industry
- Previous restaurant management experience preferred
- Availability to work nights and weekends
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
